Biotique Almond Cashew Fresh Replenishing Serum seemed intriguing to be because this is the only hair serum from Biotique and my hair wasn’t feeling too good so I decided to give it a try. Generally Biotique products are awesome for the price you pay. I have recommended Biotique Coconut Cream (read review here) to many and I have always got rave reviews about it. So let’s check out this product.
What’s It Like?
It comes in signature Biotique white bottle with green screw cap packaging. The nozzle doesn’t have any stopper to it. The serum is actually gel like, white in colour and melts into watery consistency as soon as you put it in on your palm. As with most of Biotique products, this one smells like incense sticks.
What’s The Claim?
It is meant for colour treated or permed hair and apart from that, there’s no such claims on the packaging.
How To Use It?
Dispense a small amount on your palms and apply thoroughly on wet and cleansed hair, from scalp to roots. Don’t rinse, style as usual.
What’s The Price?
40 ml bottle retails for 159 INR.
What Do I Think About It?
I didn’t like it. First thing is that it doesn’t provide any sort of sheen on the hair, if applied in small amount and if a larger amount, hair becomes too oily, like you have applied oil. So even after using half of the bottle I am yet to understand the adequate quantity of application. Second, that watery consistency just vanishes into the hair with no nourishment at all. I think I’ll switch back to my Innisfree Camilla Essential Hair Oil Serum (read review here) because it works much better.
