Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil Cool Down is a retractable eye pencil. It is colour coded so there will be no problem in detecting the particular shade, you have many shades from the same range. This particular shade, Cool Down, is number 09. It is a cool toned, blue colour which tends towards teal colour. It has little sheen to it, so if you like matte eye pencils, this one is not for you.

My Thoughts On Essence Long Lasting Eye Pencil Cool Down:
Though I like the shade, it is mainly suited for medium to fair skin tones. The eye pencil is quite creamy and doesn’t tug or pull while applying. Since it is creamy, it doesn’t last long, as claimed. Also, the quantity provided is too less for the price you pay. You only get .28gm! That will not last you a month! You can get better performance from eye pencil from Maybelline, Lakme or L’oreal, for the same price range. You get better shade of blue, longer lasting for lesser price.

Recommendation:
I didn’t like the eye pencil much. Especially when I saw such less quantity for the price I paid. You can get better eye pencils in the same price range.
