Face masks or face packs have become very common and every one seems to be reading the benefits. Whether it is a diy face mask or one that you bought from store, face masks benefit your skin in many ways. But randomly buying or making face masks is not the correct way of using face masks. You need to know your Face Mask Type. Which face mask suits your skin type is very essential.

#1: Oily Skin. If you have oily skin then you will benefit from clay based masks. Look for ingredients like Fuller’s earth, kaolin clay, white clay, green clay, volcanic clay. These will draw out impurities from your skin pores and will control sebum production. Minerals present in the clay boost skin health too. #3: Pigmented Skin. If you have pigmented skin, you need ingredients which help in removing the scars and pigmentation from your skin. Look for ingredients like Vitamin C, Kojic Acid, Citrus extracts like lemon, orange, etc.These ingredients help in removing blemishes too.

#4: Aging Skin. For aging skin you need extra Nourishing ingredients which will soothe the skin, hydrate it and ease the wrinkles. For this opt for face mask which contain Vitamin E, Retinol, Collagen, Wheatgerm, milk, honey, almonds, etc. These ingredients will help in removing the signs of aging.
