The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub Foam Review

Hello beautiful ladies,
I was intrigued by The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub Foam. This range is aimed at clearing the skin by deeply cleaning up the pores. Let’s see how it fared.

Product Description: The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub comes in a brown tube with flip opening. The packaging is in sync with The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Range. You can easily dispense the amount of product you want. The colour of the product is light brown. The scrub foam is creamy in consistency. You will find small particles of volcanic ash in the scrub foam which are meant for exfoliation. The product has pleasant smell.

Product Usage: Lather the cleansing foam with water and massage onto face with circular motion. Rinse with lukewarm water.

Product Claims: It aims to clear the skin by deeply cleaning up the pores. It contains volcanic ash particles which exfoliate the skin.

Product Price: You pay 650 INR for 150ml of the product.

My Thoughts On The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub:
It completely failed me as a scrub. There are too few scrubbing particles to do any exfoliation. You can not make it work as a scrub because when you massage it lathers and forms a thick layer on your skin thereby not giving any chance for exfoliation. It was a big let down because I was highly impressed with the other products like The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Clay Mousse, The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Cleansing Foam and even the toner from this range. But this particular product turned out to be a dud. But you can work it out if you use it as a face wash. As a face wash it performs quite nicely.

Pros Of The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub:
* Works nicely as a face wash

Cons Of The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Lava Pore Scrub:
* Too few granules for exfoliation
* No exfoliation action
* Forms a thick foam
* Dries up the skin
* Not meant for dry skin

Recommendation:
A big no.
