Face washes have become a stable in every vanity box. Every one uses face washes nowadays but you must be aware that face washes contain harmful Sulphur and detergent which harm your skin in a great way. So it is advisable that you go easy in face washes. I’m not advising against it but you can at least go easy on it. You can restrict using face washes on days when you have traveled too much or you have been using too much heavy makeup. Here are Face Wash Substitutes which will help you keep your skin clean without harming it in any way.
#1: Multani Mitti With Rose water. This is a great way to clean your skin pores. Multani mitti draws out impurities from your skin pores and helps in sebum control. This can be used after you have come from outdoors. You will be surprised how clean your skin will look after using this everyday. This is a great face wash substitute especially if you have oily skin.
#2: Besan: Besan or chickpea powder is a great skin cleanser. It helps in mild exfoliation of the skin too. Mix besan with rosewater if you have oily skin. This will keep your skin oil free and clean. If you have dry skin use besan mixed with milk. This will nourish your skin and effectively clean it too.
#3: Coconut Oil. Not only a good face cleaner but also a rock star in removing makeup too. And no, it will not clog your pores. After you come back from work, apply some coconut oil on your face and massage it to remove your makeup. Dip your wash cloth in warm water and use this to wipe your face. You will be surprised to see that your face is clean and you will not be running for a moisturiser too.
#4: Aloe Vera Gel. Use aloe vera gel and lemon juice to clean your skin and massage before washing it off.
