Fuschia Lavender Calendula Hydrating Face Gel Review

Fuschia Lavender Calendula Hydrating Face Gel came as a part of my subscription bag, Fab Bag. I really like using face gels, especially in summer season. It cools down the face and also brings in the much required hydration. But more than using it as a moisturizer, I use it as a face mask. I apply a thick layer of face gel, keep it on for around ten minutes and then wipe it off and continue with my regular skin care regime. Read on to know more about it!

What’s It Like?

Fuschia Lavender Calendula Hydrating Face Gel comes in a translucent plastic container with screw cap. The container is further packed in a lavender coloured cardboard box. The gel is lavender in colour and has a pleasant floral smell. The gel looks like aloe vera gel, in consistency.

What’s The Claim?

It claims to be a face hydrating gel packed with the goodness of aqua, aloe vera, lavender oil, rosemary oil, arnica oil, vitamin E.

What’s The Price?

50 gm container retails for 250 INR.

How To Use It?

You can use it as a light moisturizer for oily skin. You can mix it with your face cream and also use it in you face pack. I like to use it as a face mask.

What Do I Think About It?

It is a handmade product which sounds great to me and like I said, I use it as a face mask and it performs much like aloe vera gel. In fact I think it is an updated version of our good old (and affordable!) version of aloe vera gel. I didn’t find much difference in aloe vera gel and this.

Recommendation:

I do recommend brands like Fuschia which are truly natural. But this one performs just as well as plain aloe vera gel.
