Tips To Put Glitter Lipstick For Rocking Festive Look

Hello ladies,
Glitter makeup has become a rage these days and what better way to flaunt it than year end festivities! If you have been eyeing glitter lipstick but you are unsure about the correct way of application then read on.

#1: Prep Your Lips. Before you even think of glitter lipstick, make sure that your lips are properly prepared for it. This includes proper exfoliating and moisturising. Scrub your lips lightly with a lip scrub or a baby toothbrush or even wet towel. Then apply a layer of lip balm or oil. This will make your lips smooth for application of glitter lipstick.

#2: Use Matte Lipstick. The fact that glitter cannot stay for long on your lips makes it a task to wear. For this, you need to use matte lipstick and lip liner underneath your glitter lipstick. Or better still, use lip primer. This gives the glitter to hold on to something. Also the matte lipstick should be long lasting so that it holds the glitter in place for a longer time.

#3: Never Use Gloss. As I said earlier, it is a task to keep glitter in place, hence avoid applying lip gloss on top of glitter. It will make the glitter stick to your face. This is a big out off with glitter makeup.

#4: Apply with A Brush. Always apply glitter lipstick with a lip brush. This will press the glitter on your lips and help it stay for a longer time. Applying with a lip brush will also help in giving a cleaner look to your lips.

#5: Avoid Touching. After you have properly applied glitter lipstick or glitter on your lipstick, don’t mess with it anymore. Touching it will make it a and will look unkempt which you won’t want.
