The product I have for review today is Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub. As you know that I love to try out various scrubs, I gave this one a try. Coming from the house of Himalaya Herbals, I didn’t need to think twice about picking it up.
Product Description:
Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub comes in typical Himalaya Herbals, white and green packaging. The tube and the flip opening makes its easy to use and travel friendly. The scrub is of creamy consistency with tiny granules. The granules, consistency and the texture along with its smell will remind you of walnut and apricot scrubs that were among the first scrubs to be introduced in Indian market. It feels and looks exactly the same. The scrub is light peach in colour with light brown kernels. It has pleasant floral smell.
Product Usage:
Gently massage with fingertips in circular motion over damp face, avoid eye area. Wash off and pat dry. Use 2 to 3 times a week.
Product Claims:
It is a whitening scrub. It contains liquorice and white dammer which regulate melanin synthesis while apricot kernels gently exfoliate your skin.
Product Price: This is available in two sizes. This is the smaller one, 50gm of which retails for 75 INR.
My Thoughts On Himalaya Clear Complexion Whitening Face Scrub:
It is a good everyday scrub. It is gentle and creamy. It gives mild exfoliation and nourishes your skin while it exfoliates. It is easy to massage on skin and easy to wash off also. It leaves skin nourished and glowy with no traces of dryness. But if you go for whitening claims, you will be disappointed as it is just a marketing gimmick. It is your regular apricot scrub with whitening claim.

Recommendation:
It’s a good scrub but the fact that it contains parabens takes away all the points. Also, whitening claims are false.
