Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash is one of the many variants of face washes that Joy Company has launched in its “skin fruits” collection. So “yeh hai fruit wash…not face wash.” Get it? It claims of making complexion fair to impart whitening glow. Let’s see if it delivers the same or not.
Price: It comes in two sizes I have the sample size which comes for RS. 15 INR for 15ml+6ml free= 21 ml. The bigger size comes for Rs 50 INR.

My experience with Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash
Joy skin fruits fairness face wash comes in a bright yellow coloured tube. The colour strongly resembles lemon. And you get to see a picture of lemon on it as well. The packaging is quite good as it is bright and most importantly travel-friendly
Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash is infused with lemon extract which is known as natural bleach as it lightens and freshens the skin. I must tell you that you will be sure that the product does contain lemon extract, once you smell it. It has a very citrus-y smell which can be a bother for some but I personally like it very much. Once you open the tube the smell will freshen you up. The texture of the face wash is cream like and it is not runny. You will not find any exfoliating particles in it. The colour is greenish-white. Taking into account the packaging, the colour of the face wash and its smell, all I can say is that everything about this face wash will remind you that your skin will get the benefit of lemons after using it.
The face wash lathers very well and a teeny-weeny bit is sufficient to clean the face. It leaves the skin squeaky clean and you will find no trace of dirt or oil left behind and most importantly, no slippery feeling (which I hate). My skin type is oily so this works very well for me by removing impurities from my face. The downside would be that it can be drying for non-oily skin types. I personally like everything about this face wash.
What I liked about Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash:
- The non runny texture
- The refreshing smell
- The bright packaging
- The fact that it leaves my skin clean and fresh
- It contains natural fruit AHAs which is sure to benefit skin and we know how good lemon is for our skin
- I find my face very bright after using this face wash
- It is cheap…very very cheap!
What I did not like about Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash:
- It can be drying for skin types ranging from normal to dry.
- The brightness of face is short lived
- It does not come with any ingredient list!
All said and done I must say that Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash is a treat for oily skinned beauties…especially in summer when this citrus-y smell will be most welcome.
Will I re-purchase Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash: Yes.
