Lotus Sheamoist Moisturizer Review

Lotus Sheamoist Moisturizer, as the name suggests, comes laden with shea butter and real strawberry 🍓. Due to the dry weather conditions here, I picked it up to ease dryness of my skin. Let’s see how it fared.

What’s It Like?

It comes in a typical Lotus Herbals, yellowish tube with flip cap. The cream is pale pinkish in colour and has thick creamy consistency. It smells of strawberries. The moisturizer is for dry to normal skin.

My Thoughts On Lotus Sheamoist Moisturizer:

I quite like this moisturizer because it moisturises quite well and facing the driest season, it comes in quite handy. The cream is rich and buttery with oily texture. Lotus Sheamoist gets absorbed quite well, leaving the face glowy. The whole face requires only a pea sized amount of the cream.  It moisturises the driest skin patches. Only the fact that it contains methyl paraben and propyl paraben is the biggest downside of the product, especially when Lotus Herbals claims to be a herbal brand. This really puts me off.

The Nays 👎

Recommendation:

I really liked the moisturizer but the fact that it contains parabens is a big put off, especially because Lotus claims to be a herbal brand. I urge Lotus Herbals to either drop the herbal claim or stop using chemicals in their products. This kind of marketing is quite misleading to the customers.
