Bold Lipsticks brighten up your face and dress you up instantly but do you know that you can go wrong in many ways if you are not careful? Here is a list of makeup rules to follow when you apply bold Lipstick. It will make your makeup game much simpler.

#1: Highlight One Feature At A Time. You love bold lipsticks and you love eye makeup, but did you realize that you cannot opt for both of them at one time. You need to highlight one feature at a time. If you are applying heavy eye makeup then opt for nude or light lip colour. If you are wearing bold Lipstick then you need to play down on the eye makeup. Opt for simple eye lined effect and neutral eye shadow.

#2: Don’t Go Too Heavy On Blush. Like eyes, you should not go over board with blush too. The highlight of your makeup should be your lips. Opt for a light flush of colour on your cheeks. Too much blush will clash with your bold Lipstick and will make your makeup look awkward.

#3: Avoid Too Much Highlighter. If you love to go over board with highlighter then you must ease down a bit when you apply bold Lipstick. Too much bling and shine on your face looks awkward with bold Lipstick. So tone down the highlighter and go for a subtle glow when you are applying bold Lipstick.

#4: Avoid Too Many Accessories. This is a good makeup rule to follow. Especially the earrings, do not go for too much bling if you are applying bold Lipstick. Small ear studs looks just fine, otherwise it gets a little too much, unless you are making entry on red carpet!

#5: Use Lip Liner. Bold Lipsticks tend to bleed and feather. So it is a good makeup rule to Liner your lips to check bleeding.
