Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush Tantalizing is housed in a black plastic case which is packed inside a velvety black pouch along with an angled brush for application. The plastic case also has a mirror to which is very handy when you are travelling and you feel the need for touch-ups.
Once you open the plastic case, you will find a protective plastic flip which provides protection while travelling. The case has a silver metallic push button which needs to be pushed for opening it. Overall the packaging spells luxurious. The only downside if that there is no place in the case for keeping the brush which increases the chances of losing it unless you keep the pouch with you. This will not be a problem because as it is, the brush is not of much use, being too small.
The shade: Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush Tantalizing, is a unique magenta berry colour. This shade is an outspoken one, definitely not for the faint-hearted. If you are sceptical about bold colour on the cheeks; this one of not for you. It will make your cheeks glam in no time but there is a chance of going overboard with it.
This blush is highly pigmented and the colour is to die for. There is a pearly sheen which gives a glow to your cheeks along with colour. This is a definitely night-time colour and apt for parties and occasions. A personal tip from my side: match your cheek colour with your lip colour and it will give you a chic look. You can also use it as an eye shadow! There is no fall out of the product. It settles as a smooth, non-chalky and non-cakey finish. It does not highlight dry patches on the skin nor does it accentuate open pores.
Staying power:
Marc Jacobs Shameless Bold Blush Tantalizing stays put for around 5 hours but can be made to stay more if you apply a primer and set it with a setting powder. If your skin is oily, this will decrease its staying power.
