Don’t we all love long lasting, attractive colours on our nails? That is the reason why nail paints, nail polishes and nail lacquers are such a craze. Giving in to temptation, I recently purchased Nykaa Gel Shine Nail Lacquer. Let us get to know more about this.
Product Description: Nykaa Nail Lacquer comes in a glass bottle with black handle. The applicator is flat and thick. It makes application easier. Nothing to write home about the packaging. The range comes in 24 shades.
Product Usage: Apply on your nails like your regular nail polish.
Product Claims: It claims to give you to give salon like, gel look to the nails. Gives high shine to the nail which is chip proof and lasts long.
Product Price: For a bottle of 15ml you pay 325 INR.
My Thoughts On Nykaa Nail Lacquer:
I got the shade Turkish Delight which looked a beautiful bright shade of purple on the website but sadly it turned out to be a dull purple shade. I had many expectations from this but was so disappointed. It forms tiny bubbles while applying, doesn’t apply evenly. Also takes a lot of time to dry. Even after drying, little abrasive effect will make it peel. It’s only one day and already the nail paints look uneven and dirty. It is everything that a nail polish shouldn’t be. It performs below average.

Recommendation:
If you really want to invest in a good nail polish, go for OPI nail paints. Otherwise Maybelline Superstay gel nail paints range is another option. Not recommended.
