I’m back with another review and this time it is Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Regal Ruby. As it is winter season, I decided to pick up a deep, rich shade and Regal Ruby fitted my requirement exactly. It is a perfect fall-winter shade. So let’s get to know more about it.
Product Description: Nykaa So Matte Lipsticks comes in square black casing. It shuts with magnetic click. The casing is further packed in a pink cardboard box. The packaging is quite classy. Though it says matte, it does have quite a sheen to it. It is actually creamy in texture rather than pure matte.
Product Claims: It says that it is long lasting lipstick. It gives maximum colour in one stroke.
Product Price: One bullet of 4.2 gm 399 INR. Nykaa has now introduced Nykaa So Matte Mini Lipsticks, retailing for 199 INR.
My Thoughts On Nykaa So Matte Lipstick Regal Ruby:
Like I said, this particular shade is amazing for winter season or if you want to try out a darker shade. This colour is so amazing. But you must not go by the matte claims as it is not matte at all. It is quite creamy and has certain amount of sheen to it. But the good side of it is that unlike other matte lipsticks, this one doesn’t dry out the lips. The colour payoff is quite good, you get opaque colour in one stroke. It stays put for whole day but don’t expect it to survive heavy oily meal. It isn’t kiss proof ?.

A good lipstick and shade to try out, especially when the mini size is also available. But if you are looking for true matte, this one’s not for you.
