Product Description:
Patanjali Body Ubtan comes in a big packet. It has the picture of ingredients which it contains. The Ubtan is yellow in colour and very grainy in texture. It has a strong smell. What does it smell of? Don’t ask me. I cannot recognise it. Well, the Ubtan is quite grainy. The particles are quite big and chunky. It says to mix it with water but with water it doesn’t make a smooth paste. I have used many mixing agents but the most suitable to make a smooth paste was curd or yoghurt.

It claims to enhance fairness, give glowing skin and reduces dark spots and blemishes.
Product Price: One packet of 100 gm retails for 60 INR.
My Thoughts On Patanjali Body Ubtan:
I really don’t like the grainy texture. It is a pain to make a smooth paste and apply and even scrub your body with it. I don’t know whether I should be using yoghurt or curd with this, because it had not been mentioned on the packet. But that is how I can make it work. But it does give a heavy duty scrubbing on your body. I suggest you use few drops of coconut oil, olive oil or any other oil of your choice to give your skin nourishment while you scrub during winter months. Another thing good about this is it doesn’t adhere to the skin like our regular homemade Ubtans. It is easy to remove. Overtime, it surely gives glowing skin.
