Hi there,
As I told you all in the last post, my skin is undergoing breakouts and is in a sensitive state. So I quit my regular night cream and opted for something which will calm down the breakouts and help in soothing the skin. I came across Plum products, as they are free of harmful chemicals, I decided to try them. I picked up Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel. Let me tell you how it fared.

Product Description:
Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel comes in a translucent glass tub packaging with silver screw cap. Though many don’t like glass tubs, I like them because they don’t react with the skin care products and are safer than plastic packaging.
The tub is further packed in a white cardboard box. The gel is pale green in colour with fragrance of green tea. It is non oily and lightweight.
Product Usage:
As it is a night gel, apply on your cleansed face at night only, five dots is all it takes. I use it with Plum Green Tea Concentrate.
Product Claims:
It contains the goodness of acne fighting green tea, brightening licorice and skin clarifying willow bark while the gel keeps the skin hydrated.
Product Price: 50 ml of the product retails for 575 INR.
My Thoughts On Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel:
I really like the gel consistency and the fact that it contains a host of skin benefiting ingredients minus parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, sodium lauryl sulphate, DEA, PABA, and animal derived ingredients. It sinks into the skin without any hassle and leaves behind a healthy glow. In the morning you wake up to fresh glowing skin. But it doesn’t show any effects on a give acne. It doesn’t curb them now makes them less prominent. It does work on spots but very slowly.
Pros Of Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel:
- Contains great skin care ingredients
- Doesn’t contain harmful chemicals
- Lightweight and non oily
- Sinks into the skin
- Gives glow and hydrates the skin
- Apt for oily skin with hyper active sebaceous glands
- Slowly lightens spots
- Great packaging
- Affordable
Cons Of Plum Green Tea Renewed Clarity Night Gel:
- Doesn’t work on active acne
- No anti acne properties
Diaries9 Rating: 3/5
Recommendation:
So overall it is a great night gel for oily skin people who want to control oiliness. But if you want anti acne effects from it, you will be disappointed.
