Simple Pedicure Guide : Basic Steps

Pedicure is very essential part of grooming. Though it is often ignored by many women, it is actually a necessity rather than a luxury. Ignored and neglected feet can actually result in cracked feet which are painful and an easy site for feet infection. Pedicure at home is not at all a hassle which may seem to you. Step #1: Foot Soak And Scrubbing. First begin the procedure by taking warm water in a bucket or electric foot soak equipment. You can add foot soaks which are available in the market or you can add baby shampoo to the warm water. Soak for ten minutes and then start rubbing the hard skin at your heels and toes to get rid of the dead skin. You should use a pumice stone to your heels and food brush to clean the rest of your feet.

Step #2: Exfoliating. You need a creamy foot Scrub for this step. You can use store bought foot Scrub or you can also use your own Scrub. For this, take powder sugar, mix it with olive oil and lemon juice. Scrub your feet with this and leave on for few minutes. After that wash it off.

Step #3: Massage With A Nourishing Foot Cream. Now massage your feet with a heavy duty foot cream or any rich Emollient Cream like Nivea. Let you feet absorb the goodness of the cream.

Now you are done! Well, when you are at it, you can also cut your nails and shape them, remove old nail Polish and apply new one.
