It has been some time since I had a hair product for review. Talking of hair problems, dandruff is one such rogue which plagues most of us, resulting in hair fall. Though anti dandruff shampoos are effective, if you have an acute problem, something else should be included in your hair care regime which arrests the problem. I recently used Soulflower Tea Tree Oil Scalp And Dandruff Care. Let’s check out how this one fares.
Product Description: You’ll love the packaging because it is so basic. It is a plastic see-through bottle with black flip opening. It is further packed in a cardboard box, though I don’t understand the need for a seperate cardboard box in almost every beauty product. The oil is slightly yellowish and has a distinct smell of tea tree oil, if you know what tea tree oil skeels like, you will instantly recognise the smell here. The oil is slightly on the thicker side.
Product Usage: Use it like your regular hair oil, though I think slightly warming it helps it work better.
Product Claims: It claims to be a natural treatment for dandruff, controls scalp sebum secretion and gives antiseptic and antibacterial protection.
Product Price: The big bottle of 225ml costs 400 INR and it comes in one size only.
My Thoughts On Soulflower Tea Tree Oil Scalp And Dandruff Care:
If you don’t like thick oils, this one is not for you. But let me tell you this, in the quest for lightweight oils, we generally become a bait for marketing giants, who sell us mineral oil which is very very unhealthy for our hair. So best oil for you will be cold pressed and cold pressed, pure oil is going to be thicker. Having said that, I really liked the oil because it is a concoction of amazing oils like castor oils, sesame, olive and jojoba oil. It does reduce dandruff without damaging your hair.
