Sugar Smudge Me Not Lipstick Gotta Terracotta Review

Sugar Smudge Me Not Lipstick Gotta Terracotta came to me in sample size in in my subscription bag. Though I am not much of a fan of this range of lipsticks, this particular shade, 41 Gotta Terracotta, looked quite interesting. So gear up to know about it.

How Is It Packed?
Like all lipsticks in Sugar Smudge Me Not range, this one too comes on a transparent case with an applicator wand at the screw cap. Overall good packaging as the wand is very useful in application. The see through packaging makes it colour coded so you know which lipstick you are reaching out for.

What’s The Claim?
It claims to give intense matte finish with long lasting super pigmented colours.

What’s The Price?
One pack retails for 499 INR.

What Do I Think About It?
It’s a good lipstick overall if you are a matte lipstick lover. This particular shade Gotta Terracotta, is a peachy orange shade which is suitable for all skin tones, though I feel it will wash out very deep skin tones. As for the formula, this range is quite drying on the lips so there’s a dire need to prep and moisturise your lips before applying this. This won’t budge from your lips whole day but removing it is quite a task. You need an oil based makeup remover to get it off your lips.

I am sorry I lost the sample which I had. Here’s how it looks on me.

What’s Not?

Hot tip:
This is the closest match lipstick to what Deepika Padukone wore at her reception.

Recommendation:
Well if you are an out and out matte lipstick lover then go for it. Let me remind you that the formula is quite drying on lips.
