Sugar Smudge Me Not Lipstick Pink Clink Review

Hi there,
I’m back with another lipstick review and this time it’s Sugar Smudge Me Not Lipstick Pink Clink. Well when this range of lipsticks hit the market, I was taken aback by its amazing range of colours and the fact that they didn’t budge from the lips all through the day. So after a beautiful shade called Sugar Smudge Me Not Wine and Dine, I picked up this shade. Let’s us get to know more about this one.

Product Description:
Like all lipsticks from Sugar Smudge Me Not range, this one too comes in a see through packaging with black screw cap. Since it is liquid lipstick, it has an applicator which makes application so easy. The packaging is further housed in a cardboard box. This is a matte range but this particular shade which I have has metallic sheen to it. It is a deep mauve colour with shiny particles in it.

Product Claims:
No claims as such, it lasts quite long on the lips though.

Product Usage: Use it like your regular liquid lipstick, like how you apply lip gloss.

Product Price: 45 ml pack retails for 549 INR.

My Thoughts On Sugar Smudge Me Not Lipstick Pink Clink:
This one works in some ways and fails in some. I don’t know why I picked up super dry matte lipstick when I needed a glossy finish. Sound weird. Anyhow, this is exactly what it is. It is a super matte lipstick which looks like a glossy creamy lipstick. So it actually cancels the whole agenda of the lipstick being matte. This range is too drying and flaky on lipstick, it accentuates the fine lines on the lips.

Recommendation:
Give this shade a miss, other shades from this range you can try, if you don’t mind the drying effect.
