Today I am going to review Sugar Tip Tac Nail Lacquer Classic which I received in one of my subscription boxes. Here is what I feel about the product.
Product Description:
Sugar Tip Tac Nail Lacquer Classic packaging is great. It is packed in a square glass bottle and that is housed in a cardboard box which bears the details of the product. There is mosaic design on the cardboard box, typical Sugar Cosmetics design and it looks chic too. The shade which is received is called Purple Prose. This shade is dark purple colour, kind of dull purple. Actually too dark and dull for my liking.
Product Claims:
This is non toxic product. It doesn’t contain harmful chemicals.
Product Price: It retails for 199 INR for 10 ml of the product.
My Thoughts On Sugar Tip Tac Nail Lacquer Classic:
I was too excited when I got this nail paint from Sugar Cosmetics. Sugar does make amazing lipsticks. So I wanted to try out nail paint too. This is actually a new launch. First of all, like all subscription boxes, it was a big let down to get the shade which I don’t like. I feel subscription boxes shouldn’t take the liberty of choosing shades for us. They should give us choices or options to choose from. Anyway, I did try it and the next disappointment came when I saw this nail paint chipping off within first two days itself. The applicator is thin and the application is not smooth either. It doesn’t give a good gel like shine, which is expected at the price.

- Chips easily
- Applicator is thin
- Uneven application
- No shine
Recommendation:
Please don’t waste your money on this. You can easily get the same performance from a ten rupees worth nail paint which you get from local companies.
