The Body Shop Tea Tree Mattifying Toner was one of the impulsive purchases which I had made during my bad skin times, when my skin was breaking out. I had bought this along with the night cream from the same range. The Body Shop Tea Tree range aims at stopping breakouts and also in making skin oil free. Let’s see how this one fared.

What’s It Like?
This one comes in a green bottle with black cap. There is a hole to dispense the liquid. The Body Shop Tea Tree range is colour coded with green, black and white packaging. The Toner is watery with typical tea tree oil smell. It instantly evaporates on the skin.
What’s The Claims?
This range is meant for oily acne prone skin. The Toner claims to clear the skin and mattify it. It contains tea tree from the foothills of mountains in Kenya.
What’s The Price?
One bottle of 250 ml retails for 695 INR.
My Thoughts On The Body Shop Tea Tree Mattifying Toner:
This toner is really good, especially if you want something to control the oil production of your skin. It instantly calms down irritated skin and redness of the pimples. The toner cools the sensitive skin without overdrying. I found it to be extremely helpful in tightening the pores and controlling excess oiliness of the skin. This one does smell weird but the smell is not overpowering and subsides after a few minutes. There is no greasy feel to it which I like.

Recommendation:
If you don’t mind the price, this is perhaps the best toner for oily and sensitive skin. It does its job really well without drying the skin.
