I recently got a bottle of Tvachamrit Deeply Refreshing Turmeric Ubtan in my subscription box. This is an Ubtan with benefits of turmeric. Let us see how it performed.
Product Description:
Tvachamrit Deeply Refreshing Turmeric Ubtan comes in a wide mouthed glass jar which is see through. It has a golden screw cap. The Ubtan is bright yellow in colour and has very finely milled powder. It smells of besan and turmeric, which are the key ingredients in the Ubtan. It doesn’t contain any artificial fragrance.
Product Usage:
Add a few drops of water/rose water/milk/curd to make a thick paste. Apply in the face and/or body and rinse off after 5 to 10 minutes with cold water.
Product Claims:
This is a typical nani’s nuska! The turmeric Ubtan will give your face an instant glow and will even out your complexion. It also reduces englarged pores and helps combat pigmentation. Use everyday for best results.

My Thoughts On Tvachamrit Deeply Refreshing Turmeric Ubtan:
When I think of Ubtan it is usually granular powder but this one is not. It is finely milled powder, so it will give you only cleansing and no exfoliation. After mixing it with water or rosewater, it becomes a smooth paste. After applying and rinsing off, it does leaves the skin clean and smooth. Though it contains a good dose of turmeric, it doesn’t stain the face.

Recommendation:
Same Ubtan can be prepared at home with besan and turmeric, it will give similar results. This one is too expensive for everyday use.
