Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil Review

Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil came in Fab bag and I wasn’t much pleased. Why? Because I am so done with this mass production of hair oils which claim to be natural but are actually full of mineral oil and harmful preservatives. On this oil, the ingredient list looked promising though, so let’s get to know whether it is an improved version or not.

What’s It Like?

It comes in a green coloured plastic bottle, sort of squeeze bottle. This one has a hole for dispensing the oil and a screw cap. The oil is clear and has a camphor like smell to it.

What’s The Claim?

It claims to reduce hairfall by 50% in 4 weeks. The hair oil is processed by tail pak vidhi which is ayurvedic way of blending herbs in oil. Vatika enriched coconut oil contains beneficial ingredients like Amla, Lemon, Brahmi, Henna, Harar, Bahera, etc.

What’s The Price?

One bottle of 150 ml retails for 84 INR.

My Thoughts On Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil:

I am confused to see the ingredient list because there is no mention of preservatives in it. But compared to other oils in the market, it does not contain that pesky mineral oil which harms hair and scalp big time. I have used it for a month now and I can say that it does nourish hair and the scalp but doesn’t do much for hairfall. I guess I need to use it for a longer duration which also means that the 4 weeks claims is a little too far fetched.

Recommendation:

I do like the oil but I would still urge my readers to use cold pressed organic oils, that’s the least you can do for your hair.
