After a fun videos on Bollywood Obsession With Yellow Saree, I am back with another interesting post on Bollywood Actress Most Iconic Sarees. Some clothes speak for themselves and this post is all about them. While my list might not match with what you have in mind, these sarees actually speak for themselves. I mean, one look at the saree and you will know which actress wore it and in which movie, such indelible mark these sarees have left on our minds. Ready? Let’s go!

#1: Mumtaz In Orange Saree. She dazzled in a saree wrapped around her body like a dress, accentuating her curves and it went on to become one of the huge trends. Till now we see a similar saree and think of the song, ‘Aj kal tere mere pyar ke charche’.

#2: Sridevi’s Blue Saree. We couldn’t get enough of Sridevi swooning over the invisible man of her dreams and confessing her love to Mr. India, in the song, ‘Kaate nhi kat te’. She wore a blue chiffon saree, completed the look with matching bindi and bangles.

#3: Madhuri’s Purple Saree. This movie set many trends in motion. Many of the bridal trends were inspired by this movie, in many years to come. Her purple embellished saree caught the fancy of ladies across the nation. Its replicas were available in the market and sold by loads.

#4: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan In Teal Blue Saree. In the movie Devdas, Aishwarya looks class apart in this teal blue saree. This look of hers was on the posters and she looked no less than a royal queen. The saree became iconic just by its sheer opulence.

#5: Deepika Padukone In Royal Blue Saree. This look introduces us to doctor Naina, in the movie, it brings the start of ethnic look in the movie. Deepika made quite a mark in this royal blue sequinned saree.
