This collection is inspired by the Royal city of Udaipur and every piece in the collection exudes royalty.
This collection is dominated by subtle pastels and neutral hues. Then there are few colourful pieces too which are truly Indian and mesmerising colours.
Neutral hues in lahengas add the Royal feel to the whole collection. You will find bridal wear in neutral too.

There were floral motifs on the lahengas and sarees which have been seen in sabyasachi collection before but in this collection you will find that the floral designs were much inspired by the British. So it was a great amalgam of English inspired floral designs merged seamlessly into Indian attires and embroidery.
Another high point of Sabyasachi Spring Couture Udaipur Collection 2017 is the patterned lahenga. The lahengas were seen to have a different design of each panel and it looked very interesting. Each panel was of different pattern, embroidery and design.
Another interesting design was that the lahengas had mosaic embroidery to them at the base. Sabyasachi Spring Couture Udaipur Collection 2017 had daring child and blouses with plunging necklines which are not very common to sabyasachi designs. So it can be said that this collection had modernised feel to it too. This is also evident from this cape style saree in ivory which is simply breathtaking.
Sabyasachi Spring Couture Udaipur Collection 2017 also saw the designer experimenting with indigo colour which was never seen before.
This collection defied many rules which the designer had made himself yet retained his signature style. His collection made us proud of our traditional heritage.
