#1: Opt For Heavier Fabrics. In winter instead of going for light fabrics like chiffon or cotton,opt for heavier fabrics like velvet and Banarasi. These fabrics add warmth to your attire and you will not have any problems in winter. Especially if you are attending winter wedding, you can wear these sarees without hiding under layers of clothing.

#2: Go for Longer Blouses. This is a great tip if you want to wear a saree still keep warm. You can opt for long blouses or even longer jacket style blouses. The market is flooded with jacket style blouses which are in style. You can also opt for longer blouses in simple sarees too.

#3: Pair With Leather Jacket. This is a funky way of wearing a saree in winter. Wear your favourite leather jacket with your saree and you have a rocking look in a saree this winter. It creates a very interesting balance of feminine touch and new age styling. The same look can be created with denim jackets or biker jackets too.
